Make a Wooden Perpetual Calendar

wooden perpetual calendar

This beautiful perpetual calendar was made by Amber Dusick of Homeschooling Voyage. She cleverly used chalkboard paint on the top of the calendar so the month could be written in chalk whenever it’s time to change. I love the wooden squares for the numbers, and especially the holiday and special occasion discs (like the heart in the photo, which represents Valentine’s Day). Instructions at Make Baby Stuff [how to make a perpetual wooden calendar]

Project Estimate:

  • 16 x 20″ piece of pine wood, estimate, $5
  • 31 wooden 2″ squares, $.30 each, $9.30

  • Chalkboard paint, about $3
  • Acrylic paint, on hand
