Make Glitter Alphabet Wall Art

glitter alphabet

Even though she admits she hates working with glitter, Lorna Doone Brewer made this cute alphabet banner for her daughter’s bedroom and posted about it on my bloggy buddy Wendy’s awesome site, Craft Jr. The glitter adds a little bit of bling to the room, and the alphabet will help her daughter learn to read. [find out how to make this glitter alphabet]

Project Estimate:

  • Felt, several sheets, $1 and up
  • White glue, on hand
  • Glitter, on hand or $1
  • Ribbon, $1
  • Mini clothespins, $1 and up

Total: $4 and up

Make it Cheaper: Use materials you have on hand, such as felt you already have, or construction paper for the base. Use regular-sized wooden clothespins (a pack of 100 at the dollar store for $1), or sew the felt to the ribbon instead of clipping.

  1. Woo woo! Congrats on the new site! :)

BTW, I can’t take credit for this cute project. This was done by my new Craft Jr. writer Lorna Doone Brewer. She used to write for me on my old blog network, and I’m uber excited to get to work with her again!
