Here’s the next step of my Fall decor using only dollar store items. Today is a really simple and lovely idea that honors my childhood love of jumping in big piles of fallen leaves!
Supplies:
- small leaves- $1 for a bag of 50 (I used about 6 leaves for this project)
- potpourri- $1 (I used about 1/5 of the bag for this project)
- glass votive candle- $1
- candle plate- on hand

I placed the leaves down to cover the bottom of the plate. You may want to use a bit of tape on each leaf to help it not slide around. Then I put the candle in the middle, and added some potpourri. I am so impressed with how interesting the potpourri is visually!
I love it! I made a few of these to put around the house. I added some glittered pumpkins also found on my trip to the dollar store, used some scrapbook paper as a charger of sorts. The candles are cinnamon scented, which works beautifully with the gentle fragrance from the potpourri!
Tomorrow I’ll show you how I made the fall hurricanes seen in the photo above!
