Make an At Home Date Night Can Gift

Buying/making gifts for couples can be a bit tricky…trying to find something that will be of interest to both people without being too generic…it’s a tall order!

 

I received great feedback to my “at home date ideas” post, and wanted to make it into a simple gift that can be given to any couple. We would all benefit from more quality time with our significant others! This gift will cost you less than $2 and can be put together in about 10 minutes tops! Don’t let that fool you…this will be a gift that the recipients will LOVE, that will be such a blessing to them all year!

Supplies:

• Small can (I found this in the dollar section at Target last week)
• This list of at home date ideas
• letter stickers (found in the dollar section at Target)

Total cost: $1-2

I simply copied and pasted the date ideas into a word document, spaced them out a bit and printed them. Then cut them into strips, fold and put them into the can. Use letter stickers to label the can in whatever way you’d like (I tried so hard to think of something catchy or clever, but no amount of coffee was helping me be more creative this time!) Attach a bow and a note explaining what the gift is and you’re done!

You could make a bunch of these at once and keep them on hand for last minute gifts that will cost you almost nothing but be so valuable to the people who receive it! I’ll be giving this gift along with a Date Night Out (on a teensy budget!) idea that I’ll show you tomorrow!
