Free Valentine Mad Lib Printable

Jan 19, 2012 by Pin It

Mad Libs are fun. Every.Single.Time. Even as an adult I’m delighted by them. As a parent, I love using them as a fun way to teach my daughter the elements of speech (nouns, verbs adjectives etc), creative use of words and spelling.

Here’s a great Valentines Day themed Mad Lib printable from HP. You homeschooling parents can use this with a group of kids and take turns reading them together. It’ll be a hoot! If your child really enjoys this, put the blank template in a picture frame and use a dry erase marker on the glass to fill in the blanks over and over again!

I use Mad Libs for teaching, too, and Schoolhouse Rock (“And so I unpacked my adjectives…”) to reinforce that teaching. Thanks for the printable!
