Beautiful pantries have been stunning me lately! They’re so inspiring and lovely and tidy! But when I started to look into revamping my own pantry, I was immediately put off by how much it would cost to get matching containers and labels. So I gave up.
Then, today, I saw something that made me gasp out loud, shriek even more loudly, and clap my hands with vigor! You see, Jennifer from The Social Home made an absolutely gorgeous pantry…with dollar store containers and homemade labels!!! I’m still reeling over her pantry perfection!
BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! After you read through her post to see how she did it, scroll through the comments and you’ll find a link to a FREE download of some of the labels! (You can purchase custom labels from Jennifer’s Etsy shop!)
Let’s all rush over and proclaim our love for Jennifer’s dollar store pantry makeover!
Thank you so much for the love! And for featuring my pantry! Like you, I was so discouraged by the cost, but figured there must be a way to do it frugally. Hopefully this will show others you don’t have to spend a lot to make something look the way you want it to! Thanks again
Jen from the SocialHome
Hi jen – quick question on the plastic containers that you used… are they labeled as to whether they do or do not contain BBP? I would love to use plastic but am concerned about the chemical impact. thanks, cambria
Hi Cambria! All the plastic containers I bought from the dollar store were BPA free
Which dollar store please? I looked at the Dollar Tree.
I love those labels on your pantry containers. How did you make them. Did you use a program – what type of paper? How did you adhere them? Thanks so much. Lovely Pantry
