Make a Bendable Fabric Flower

Real flowers are beautiful, but in a drought, nothing is quite as hardy as a faux flower.  Amanda from Crafts by Amanda made this colorful blossom out of scrap fabric (see, you knew you were saving those bits for a reason!) and pipe cleaners.  The wire-edged petals are also bendable!  They would make a fun party decoration or slumber party craft.  Poke them into house plants, keep a bouquet on your desk, plant a few in the window boxes of a playhouse…  There are so many possibilities!  [how to make a bendable fabric flower]

Project materials:

  • Fabric scraps
  • Mod Podge
  • Waxed paper
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Styrofoam ball
  • Felt
  • Wooden dowel
