Make Mini Garden Gnomes

Not only are these little garden gnomes adorable, they’re also weatherproof enough to actually put them in your garden!  The project by Katie S. at Apartment Therapy uses a cone-shaped paper cup from an office water cooler and a recycled cardboard tube to create a mold, which is them filled with plaster to create the basic shape of the gnome.  A good coat of polyurethane over the whole thing gives these little garden guardians the ability to stand up to the elements if you want to display them outdoors, or stick them in your houseplants for a quirky touch to your home decor.  [how to make mini garden gnomes]
