Make Pool Noodle Lightsabers

Whether your kids are into Star Wars and you call ‘em lightsabers, or they’re into Medieval times and you tout them as swords, these pool noodle creations by Amy at The Idea Room appeal to boys of all ages.  (Even my 26-year-old husband wanted one as soon as he saw it!)  The noodle slides over a PVC pipe core, making them sturdy enough to stand up to swordplay yet soft enough to avoid serious injury if things get out of hand.  [how to make pool noodle lightsabers]
