Whether you use cloth or disposable, diapers are stinky. I tried several different kinds of diaper pails when my daughter was tiny. Regardless of the claims on the box, none of them was sufficiently odor-free. If you’re finding yourself increasingly frustrated with the l’eau de diapers around your house, try this DIY deodorizing disc from Diapers, Dirt, Donuts, Doodling and Digital. (I know, the D’s in this post are out of control.)

Once you’ve made a batch of these little pucks, you just plop one into your diaper pail and it’s good for nearly a month!

Supplies:

• distilled or boiled water
•  2 cups of baking soda
• your choice of essential oils
• a muffin pan
• paper muffin cups
