Last year, I found this recipe for a Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake shaped like a candy cane, and I just had to make it. So cute, and SO GOOD. It is a fun and eye-catching thing to bring to a Christmas party, or a fun addition to your Christmas day breakfast. Great idea from Catholic Cuisine and Waltzing Matilda.

Cake & filling
3(8 oz. each) pkgs. refrigerated crescent rolls
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-3 teaspoons milk
