Hi, My name is August, but my three older brothers call me Auggie. This is my first holiday season! Let me tell you what I’ve learned about holiday traditions so far. I’ve been having a great time celebrating my first Christmas with my family!
Our holiday preparations started outside. First, we decorated our house with Christmas lights and stockings hung on our front fence. There are six stockings — one for each person in our family! My mom got the stockings at the dollar store. While she was decorating, I sat and watched her from my stroller.
As I was watching, I ate some snacks! Instead of Christmas cookies, my mom gave me some Happy Family Happy Yogis (yum, mixed berry bites made of organic yogurt and fruit, added DHA, and probiotics), and some Happy Munchies (with broccoli, kale, and cheese).
While I was in my stroller, we went for a walk! My mom and dad have been trying to be more active and healthy since I was born. We walked to the nearest shopping center to do a little Christmas shopping.
While my parents shopped, I ate a few more organic Happy Family snacks (more of my favorite Happy Family Yogis!). The store was so busy I got pretty tired out! I took a little nap while mom and dad pushed me home in the stroller.
A little later, I put an ornament up on our holiday countdown calendar, then had a few Happy Munchies Rice Cakes (Carrot flavor), which were super delicious! They’re made with organic ingredients, and sweetened with 100% juice, and I can feed them to myself, which my mom likes! I made them look so good that my mom had to try some along with me!
My mom said they were so good. She might have eaten a serving or two!
I am looking forward to experiencing all the other fun parts of Christmas with my family!
Launched on Mother’s Day 2006, and founded and operated by moms, Happy Family is a leading premium organic food brand delivering optimal nutrition for the entire family. After watching a friend struggle to find healthy food options for her baby (that didn’t involve hours of slaving away in the kitchen), founder and CEO Shazi Visram came up with the idea for Happy Family. What began as Happy Baby — a minimally processed frozen, organic alternative to baby food in a jar — has since grown into a comprehensive line of products for the whole family.
